Chimpcom

A terminal-like website. A personal project that’s been around since 2010.

Features include:

• Project-based to-do list management
• A note system
• Pseudo filesystem that can be used as a markdown-based blogging platform
• Encoders/decoders:
  • Hex-dec
  • Base64
• Lorem Ipsum generation
• Deciders
  • Magic Eightball
  • Who should make the tea/coffee
• Command aliasing
• A whole bunch of easter eggs, in jokes and hidden features.

It doesn’t come with any documentation beyond the man command. Somebody on Reddit once told me that if I wanted it to be successful then I should make it more intuitive. They misunderstood the situation.
